Join us and make some of the most popular Korean picnic dishes that are also popular for other occasions. We will start the class by learning about how Koreans celebrate the beautiful season of spring and the behind-the-scenes stories about the Korean lunchbox tradition and different types of kimbap, rice rolls wrapped in seaweed. Then we will get right to making kimbap, from properly seasoning rice to making yummy and simple variations. We will also make other all-time Korean favorites and get tips on how to easily create your own versions with different ingredients. Throughout the class, Shin will share Korean cooking tips from using Korean vegetables to choosing appropriate Korean products for your cooking. We will sit down for our own Korean picnic meal at the end and celebrate spring in New York!
