Join Also-Known-As 25th Anniversary kickoff event! We will hear about the origins of Also-Known-As and how international adoptees are coming together to educate, empower, and organize transracial and transnational adoptee communities. A moderated panel and Q&A will be followed by small group discussions with the panelists to reflect on how our community continues to grow and strengthen.

Taneka Jennings: Korean adoptee, Deputy Director at HANA Center, Campaign Manager at Adoptees for Justice
Hope Johnson: Chinese adoptee, member of AKA since youth mentorship, chef, musician, athlete
Hollee McGinnis: Korean adoptee, founder of Also-Known-As, assistant professor in the VCU School of Social Work
Jared Rehberg: Vietnamese Adoptee, Singer-Songwriter
