Christopher Larkin was born in Daegu, South Korea on October 2,1987. At four months old, he was adopted by an Irish father and French-Canadian mother. Both he and his sister, Ashley (also a Korean adoptee) were raised in Hebron, Connecticut.
Larkin's first acting gig was playing the titular role of Hamlet in a middle school production. He went on to train at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts before earning a BA in Theater from Fordham College at Lincoln Center.
In 2012, he left New York City for Los Angeles. It was also the year he went to Korea, and tracked down and met his birthmother for the first time.
